News

27. 11. 2011 — Yesterday we finally brought our new colt, Penboeth Persia from Wales. We would like to send big thank you to Francis and Sallie Goggin who enabled us to own such a great colt, to Mr. Alan Pearce, who brought the colt for us and as always very well cared for him and to Mr. Stephan Bends from German stud farm Getzer Hof, who took care of him before our arrival.

3. 10. 2011 — We returned from our holiday in Wales. This time we spent there two weeks, during which we visited again several famous stud. This year it was mainly studs Frongoch, Fronbach, Tyngwndwn, Moorcock, Penboeth and of course as traditionally Llanfrechfa stud. The highlight of the holiday was probably Welsh mountain pony and Welsh pony Sale – Fayre Oaks, which we visited for the first time this year and we really enjoyed it. This year we also went to see some incredible scenery and the trails and we visited North Wales including the Snowdonia mountains and the island of Anglesey. All crowned the beautiful weather and beautiful beaches and cliffs at Borth, so we also enjoyed swimming.
We would like to thank our family, especially Eva, Ondra and Katka, who at the time of our absence care of all our livestock..

30. 8. 2011 — Photos from this year's XV. National Welsh Pony and Cob show in Plasy (again from Tomas Vorsilka), you can see in gallery.

27. 8. 2011 — Today we participated in for us the most important Czech event - XV. National show of Welsh Pony and Cob in Plasy. The show was very nice despite of the weather, it certainly contributed very good judge, Mrs. Kathy Sheil from Dukeshill Stud (Wales).
Goldmane stud successfully represented two horses. First, Llanfrechfa Patriot with Martin won big young handler class. We are very pleased with them, mainly because Pat and Martin was in this class for the first time! Then yearling Goldmane Red Alert won first place in his class and after that got Reserve Youngstock champion!
Big thank you to our stable realization team, without whose help we definitely did not go!

12. 6. 2011 — In the gallery you can see the pictures of our Welsh Mountain Ponies and Haflingers from photographer Thomas Vorsilka from the May photographing on our pastures.

30. 4. 2011 — Today went to a new home yearling Goldmane Rubicon. We wish him and his new owners much shared joy!

11. 4. 2011 — Today we accompanied into a new life our three year old colt Darth Vader. We hope that he will get on well with his new friends and we wish good luck to him and his new owners!

5. 3. 2011 — In this beautiful early spring day we brought our first Welsh Cob. It is the yearling chestnut colt Tyngwndwn Hank, born at the Tyngwndwn stud in Wales.

17. 2. 2011 — Today, finally got a new addition to our stud. We hope that this pure Austrian will be really great strength of our team. Photos of our new tractor Steyr 180A with front loader shortly after his arrival to Brezi you can see in gallery.

7. 8. 2010 — Today we had II. Shetland pony show in Chomutov, where for the first time ever was welsh classes opened. Enterprise won in her class, 1-2 year old Welsh mountain pony and we are very pleased, because she behaved well this time. Patriot once again shone, winning his class of geldings and mares three year old and older, and then won the Championship of category Welsh mountain pony. He also became the supreme champion of all Welsh category. The show was very successful despite bad weather prevailed on her wonderful atmosphere. The organization was excellent, wonderful prices and excellent facilities, great thanks to the JK DOMINICA PZOO Chomutov!

27.7.10 — Yesterday we returned from our vacation in Wales. Again it was an amazing experience. Accommodation by the sea in the northern part of the country has opened a wonderful new places for visiting. Royal Welsh Show was beautiful. We were pleased with how high wos placed parents of our Eppynt filly.
We had the pleasure to meet again with our friends from the studs Llanfrechfa and Gleiniant and we visited several new famous studs. Among others we have a wonderful day spent with Francis Gogin and his wife Sallie from stud Penboeth. All the day we watched with them their lovely ponies, talking about breeding, training and showing Welsh mountain ponies.
It was really wonderful and we look forward to next year when we hope to meet with them again.

7.7.10 — This Saturday was held XIV. SCHWPC National Show of Welsh pony and Cob in the Plasy. We entered Enterprise and Rincewind again and both won 2nd place in their classes.
Judge, Mr. Charles Seward from Windwillow Stud, told that both our ponies have lovely movement and very good conformation, but need much more practising in the showring. Photos

21.6.10 — Welsh pony and cob championship 2010 is over. This time it was held in Pardubice Racecourse. Our yearling filly Goldmane Enterprise was 4th in mixed 1-2 y/o welsh mountain fillies. 2 y/o Goldmane Rincewind was 2nd in mixed class of 1-2 y/o welsh mountain colts class.

14.6.10 — This weekend was held in Prague big Golden T-Ball Supercup. Our son Martin and his team Žinkovy Hawks took part there as the only team from South and West part of CR. We spent lovely time watching the Sundays finale

16.5.10 — Yesterday was XII. Spring medal show of ponies and small horses in Valec. Again, we took our yearling filly Goldmane Enterprise and 8yo gelding Llanfrechfa Patriot. Enterprise won her class of the Welsh mountain pony yearlings. But mainly we were delighted that her behavior was much better than on the Ritka show.
Patriot shined again. He won the well occupied mares and geldings 4years and older class, and then he won championship of all Welsh mountain pony category. In the afternoon, he became Reserve Welsh Supreme Champion, Reserve adult Champion of the show and Reserve All Around Champion.
We are very proud of him.
Also amazing is that thanks to Pat's victory in the championship of Welsh mountain pony category our stud won the cup at the Valec spring show for the fifth consecutive year! Before him had this title for us Trawel Regina (2006, 2008), Trawel Romantika (2007) and Goldmane Darth Vader (2009).

5.5.10 — Finaly we have all this years foals. Trawel Romantika foaled this evening and has chestnut colt (turning grey again).

28.4.10 — Two colt foals by Gleiniant Cayenne was born today. First from Trawel Regina is chestnut (will turn grey) born 9 a.m. and second from Gleiniant Damson is bay (will turn grey too) born 10 p.m. Both colts and mares are doing well.

25.4.10 — Yesterday, we had first this year's show in Řitka near Prague. We entered two ponies. This time it was eight-year-old gelding Llanfrechfa Patriot and yearling filly Goldmane Enterprise. Enterprise finally was second in the class of the yearling Welsh mountain pony. Patriot performed absolutely flawlessly and won the mixed class of geldings and mares four years old and older, and even became Reserve Champion of Welsh mountain pony category. For gelding its absolutely stunning result.

24.12.09 — Goldmane stud wishes to all Welsh mountain pony and Haflinger fans beautiful Christmas and successful New Year 2010!

30.10.09 — Today we finally brought home our Welsh mountain filly foals, purchased this summer in Wales. Both arrived in very good condition and are well accustomed in the herd of our mares.
Our great thanks go to Alan and Vivian Pearce for perfect care during the trip and also to our friend Pauline Howells, who took us into the Eppynt and Windmill studs and thus allowed us to have such amazing fillies!

4.10.09 — Because in recent days we have beautiful autumn weather full of colors and the sun, we went with a camera to our pastures. The result you can see here .

24.9.09 — Yesterday we came back from lovely holidays in Wales. We have seen plenty of wonderful places, visited many famous welsh mountain pony studs and met lovely people.
And we were allowed to attend the Royal Welsh Show.
We wish to thank to all our dear friends from studs Llanfrechfa and Gleiniant for creating the best holidays we ever had.

5.7.09 – XIII. NATIONAL SCHWPC WELSH PONY AND COB SHOW. Goldmane Rincewind was 3rd and Goldmane Darth Vader 5th in very strong class of yearling welsh mountain ponies.

16.5.09 – XI. VALEC MEDAL SPRING SHOW OF PONIES AND SMALL HORSES. Our boys was very succesful there. Gleiniant Cayenne was second in mixed class of 1-3 years old welsh mountain ponies and was Reserve champion of WMP category. Yearling Goldmane Darth Vader was 1st in the same class, was Section A champion and after that he won a trophy for OVERALL YOUNGSTOCK CHAMPION. We are very pleased!

29.12.08 – New addition to our stud. This time not a horse but the kitty! Four months old British short-haired tomcat from the Lenkat breeding station. His name is Mambo Lenkat aka „Oggy“. His pictures you can see in the gallery.

22.10.08 – Yesterday we came back from fantastic journey over Wales, where we visited lot of studs with welsh mountain ponies and welsh cobs. We visited famous Royal Welsh Cob Sale too. Photos from that beautiful trip you can see in the gallery.
